Precious came to us through the Taholah Shelter as part of a group we rescued. We thought she might be expecting-and sure enough, just two weeks later she surprised us with six beautiful puppies, now lovingly known as our "Tree Litter."
True to her name, Precious is exactly that. She's as sweet as they come, with a calm, gentle nature that makes her an absolute joy to be around. At around 6-7 years old, she's still active enough to enjoy a stroll in the park or some light playtime, but her favorite pastime is simply relaxing and watching the world go by. She does have a slight limp from an assumed old injury, she plays and runs around just fine. But is more noticeable if strained.
She's not looking to be a hiking buddy-she's more of a short walk on the beach and then "curl up by the fire and nap the afternoon away" kind of gal. Precious would love nothing more than a cozy home where she can lounge beside her favorite person, soak up love, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
She does pull on the leash but walks respectively on a prong collar.
Presious doesn't do good around cats, and cannot be with a family with coexisting cats inside. She also has a high food drive that can make her difficult with counter surfing and leaving food out, she will find it and will eat it.
