DESCRIPTION

Yes, she’s beautiful. That might be what stops your scroll. But what makes Goldie Golden special lives much deeper than her face. She’s quiet, thoughtful, and emotionally gentle. The kind of dog who watches the world before deciding she trusts it. And once she does? She fits in like she’s always belonged.

Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet and innocent girl: https://youtu.be/vq9NNAu3bKs?si=mGSX4caMRr2ZlNNW

Is Goldie a cuddly dog? Not exactly. Will she tolerate cuddles? Absolutely. She’ll calmly lay there and let you love on her. Will she one day seek affection on her own? Maybe. But that’s not why you adopt a dog like Goldie. You adopt Goldie because you believe in the quiet magic of trust being earned. Because you understand that love doesn’t always come in big, overwhelming moments.

Sometimes it shows up in the small things. A relaxed body. A soft glance. A tail wag from across the room. Those are the moments that make Goldie so special. She’s for someone who values peaceful companionship and finds joy in the slow, meaningful connection that grows over time.

Goldie Golden is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 4 years old and currently weighs around 50 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.

Goldie is dog friendly and has shown that she can peacefully coexist with other dogs. She'll sit back and watch other dogs playing, and will enjoy the fresh air with other dogs around but she’s not one to seek out constant interaction or play. She’s happiest when other dogs respect her space and allow her to simply exist alongside them. She would do best with calm, respectful dogs who are content sharing a home without expecting friendship or play. She could also thrive as the only dog, where she can fully settle into her own rhythm. Every now and then, with the right dog, she may engage in a little play, but overall her vibe is quiet coexistence over chaos.

Goldie has a beautiful energy about her and is not rambunctious or demanding. She enjoys sunbathing, quietly exploring the yard, and relaxing on the patio. Inside, she’s a dream. She’s not destructive, she’s fully potty trained, crate trained (and truly loves her crate, it’s her safe place), and has wonderful house manners. She’s incredibly mellow and low energy, the kind of dog who brings a calm, grounding presence into your home.

And like all of us, Goldie has her soft spot, the little key to her heart. For her, it’s food and quality time. She loves treats (and isn’t picky), and while she won’t rush up or demand anything, she definitely appreciates a good snack. A stray French fry, the smell of popcorn on movie night, or even just her kibble, it all makes her happy. And she takes treats so gently it’ll make you smile every time. Pair that with simply spending quiet time together, and you’ll start to see her walls come down in the most rewarding way.

Goldie is also the perfect work-from-home companion. She’s not going to interrupt your day or demand constant attention. Instead, she’ll quietly exist alongside you, bringing a peaceful, steady presence that makes your home feel calmer just by her being there. At her core, Goldie is simply… easy. Easy to live with. Easy to trust. She doesn’t add stress, she absorbs it. She’s a quiet soul, a gentle soul, and the kind of dog who reminds you to slow down and appreciate the little things. If you’re someone who understands that the best relationships take time, who finds meaning in earning a dog’s trust rather than expecting it right away, Goldie might be one of the most rewarding companions you’ll ever have.

We are willing to test Goldie Golden with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen. Just let us know.
