Hauss - Pekingese Dog for Adoption in Portland, Maine

This is handsome Hauss. He is 8 years old and yes, as you can see, he does have the 1 healthy eye. He lost his other eye due to a previous injury. He was surrendered to the rescue along with his companion Buttercup and they are a very bonded pair. They will be adopted together!

He has been neutered, had all of his vaccinations, been dewormed and microchipped. He was also treated for run of the mill Pekingese skin issues but is doing great now!

He does really like children but those over 10 years old would be best for him! He enjoys the company of other small dogs and doesn't seem to mind being around cats either. Hauss and Buttercup enjoy going for rides in the car and they do very well overnight in their crates. They love to hang out on the couch cuddling and they take treats gently. Whether it's going for a walk or taking a nap, these cuties are ready to hang with their person!
