Buttercup - Pekingese Dog for Adoption in Portland, Maine

This darling girl is Buttercup! She is an 8-year-old female Pekingese. She was surrendered to the rescue with her companion Hauss. They are a very bonded pair and must be adopted together! (The reddish color Peke is Hauss)

She enjoys spending quality time with her person and Hauss, watching a good movie on the couch and having a tasty snack. She and Hauss love getting attention and after they have exercise time, they are ready for a good snuggle together.

She has been spayed, had all of her vaccinations, been dewormed and microchipped. She received treatment for common in Pekingese skin issues and is having no problem with it at this time. She has occasionally had an accident in the house after being asked to hold it longer than 4-5 hours without a break. Potty pads would be helpful or someone at home to give her a potty break throughout the day would be best.
