Nicky *Arriving 9/12* D12332 - Pekingese and Japanese Chin Dog for Adoption

Hi, I'm Nicky!

I'm a sweet, easygoing girl with moderate energy who loves playing, especially chase with my doggy friends. I've really taken a liking to my foster family's two small dogs, so I'd happily have a canine companion in my forever home, although it's not required.

I'm a little unsure when meeting new people, but give me a couple of minutes and I warm right up. I'm fairly quiet, too, unless you leave the room! Then I may make some pretty funny sounds to let you know I noticed. I don't need to be in your lap. I just like knowing where you are. I'd do best with someone who is around more often than not.

I'm still learning some basics, including crate training and leash walking. Being on a leash makes me a little nervous, but I'm getting better every day. I figured out the potty routine quickly, with only a couple of accidents during my first day or two.

I haven't been exposed to cats or kids yet.

My favorite time of day you ask? It's morning of course, because I'm an early bird!

I'm just a really great girl looking for someone to love, play with, and spend my days with.

Nicky is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 09/12/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30 and 11:30am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.
