Meet Artemis! 8 months old 20 pounds

Oh, this precious little girl! Artemis came into the shelter with her brother, Ashton, and just like him, she's feeling a little lost and overwhelmed. The shelter is a big, scary place for a young puppy, and right now, she's just trying to make sense of it all.

Artemis is shy and timid, but oh my goodness, is she SWEET! Sweet as pie! Everything about this little girl is gentle and tender.

She tests well with other doggies, although she's not terribly interested in interacting just yet. She actually walks pretty well on leash, with a little tugging here and there, and she takes treats ever so gently.

Right now, Artemis is a little bewildered by her surroundings, but we know there's a happy, silly, playful puppy just waiting to emerge! Once she feels safe and loved, she'll come out of her shell and start doing all those wonderful puppy things. Playing, zooming, exploring, and enjoying life!

This precious little girl just needs someone to give her a chance, a little patience, and lots of love. She's going to blossom into the sweetest family companion.

Somewhere out there is a family who will make this little girl feel safe again. And we can't wait for her to find them!
