Meet Jasper — Three Legs, One BIG Personality!

Jasper is a 412-year-old, 55-pound, three-legged lovebug who has been patiently waiting for his forever family for THREE YEARS. Yep... three years! And we really can’t understand why, because this handsome guy has so much love to give.

Jasper is a people lover through and through. Give him a human to hang out with and a little attention, and he’s a happy boy. He’s also a HUGE fan of food, so bonus points if you’re willing to share your snack... although we recommend keeping those snacks safely in your hands!

Despite being a tripod, Jasper gets around just fine and is a medium-to-low-energy guy who enjoys life at a pretty relaxed pace. He’s housebroken and crate trained, and he responds well to correction. Like most dogs, he could use some continued training and reminders about his manners, but he’s a smart guy and ready to keep learning.

Jasper does well with other dogs his size or larger who have a similar energy level. He’s not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must.

Jasper can get a little rowdy and excited with kids, so we think a home with sturdy, respectful older kids would be the best fit. He’s a big, happy guy who sometimes forgets that he’s not exactly a tiny lap dog!

After three long years in rescue, we would LOVE to see Jasper finally get his forever home. He may have three legs, but he has four times the personality and a whole lot of love to give.
