Meet Liddy! She can be a bit cautious at first, but once she knows you're nice, you're her whole world. She's 2.5 years old and weighs 47 lbs! The person who surrendered Liddy got her from a friend, but unfortunately, wasn't able to bring her to their new apartment due to breed restrictions. Her owner was also told by their friend that the breeder they originally got her from would hit her. Obviously, this sweet baby will need time to build up trust, but she allowed me to leash her and walk her outside. She can be a bit slow to walk, but luckily, the walk from her loft to our play yard was very short! Outside, I sat down, and she crawled her way over to me, splooted by my lap, then put her front paws on my lap. She just looked at me with those big, sad eyes and accepted pets and chin scratches! We're told she's shy, playful, curious, independent, and a huge lapdog, all things I witnessed out in the play yard. She's lived with young children and was friendly with them, as well as a large and small dog, with whom she was also friendly! Liddy enjoys treats, tug-o-war, pets, and going on walks!
