Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Wichita, Kansas

Introducing Lady, who is a total baby! She's a year old and weighs 61 lbs! She was a stray that a family took in and made a significant effort to find her owner. Unfortunately, no owner was located, so they kept her, but were unable to give her the space to run and play in! She's very energetic and didn't interact the best with their young children, as her playful energy could be hard to control around the children. She can be protective of the children, which led to her getting into an altercation with another dog that was also protective of the children. We'd highly recommend a dog-to-dog introduction with our staff before adopting! She's affectionate, playful, curious, friendly, and active! She does very well with children, but could be too energetic for the younger ones. She loves soccer balls, tug-o-war, getting pets, and playing chase. She will bark when she needs to be let out to potty, but was kept as an outdoor dog. Her ideal home would have a large fenced-in yard, have time to get her energy out, and train her!
