Formerly known as Gus, Gino was brought to a veterinary office by his previous owner with a request that left the staff stunned she wanted him euthanized because he was "acting up" and "didn't listen." Despite being in fair health and having so much life left to live, his future hung in the balance.

The veterinary team couldn't believe that this sweet, deserving dog was facing the end of his life for reasons that could never justify losing it. Thankfully, one compassionate staff member refused to let his story end there. They reached out for help, a safety plan was put into place, and Gino was given the second chance he so desperately deserved.

Today, Gino is safe, loved, and ready to begin a brand-new chapter.

This handsome senior gentleman is everything you could hope for in a companion. He has a calm, easygoing disposition that makes him a joy to be around.
