Toby was rescued from the streets of Lynwood, California after living as a stray for months. Toby was one of three dogs in the vicinity who desperately needed help. Once Toby was secured, he was taken directly to a vet and received medical assessment, wellness exam, and was neutered. Toby has been in foster care since he was medically cleared. Toby is a strong boy who has struggled with resource guarding. Toby had an assessment done with a k9 trainer and can benefit from additional sessions. He will require a strong and firm handler who will be able to continue training after adoption. Additionally, Toby os friendly with other dogs after slow and proper introductions.
