Naida - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

Some dogs arrive at the shelter looking for a family. Others arrive carrying a whole story with them.

Naida came all the way from Texas to Illinois, traveling hundreds of miles in the hope that somewhere along the way, she would finally find the place she could call home.

She is a darling, sweet girl with a gentle disposition. There's something incredibly special about the way Naida looks at you, as if she's hoping you might be the person who stays. The person who chooses her. The person who shows her that she doesn't have to wonder anymore where she belongs. Naida is such a pleasure to take for a walk, and she loves dogs!

We don't know everything about Naida's past, but we know where we want her future to lead: a soft bed, a warm home, someone to love her every single day, and a family who will never let her wonder if she is wanted again.

She has already made the long journey from Texas to Heartland Animal Shelter. Now her journey is almost complete.

All Naida needs is someone to look into those sweet eyes and say, "You're home."

Naida's adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
