Goku - Mixed Breed and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Warrington, Pennsylvania

Goku is now available to foster or foster to adopt through Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue. Goku is a super sweet boy that has been in foster care in MS with a rescue since he was 4 months old, and he is now almost 4 years old! The rescue in MS reached out to Brookline to help rehome him since finding loving, indoor homes in MS is no easy task. He is a friendly but submissive boy who loves all people and dogs. He rolls on his back for belly rubs when greeting new friends. He was good with an outdoor cat that previously lived on the property.

He is currently with a foster in MS but lives outside in a pen with another dog, along with 22 other dogs on the property. Living inside will be a new adventure for him. He will finally be able to experience all the wonderful perks that come along with living inside but will need a little bit of housetraining when he first arrives. Goku is treat motivated, so should be easy to train.

Goku is UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative and has been on preventatives since he was 4 months old. He is fine without a fence, good on leash and has spent time with kids over 5 and done well!

All Goku needs is someone to give this boy a chance to have his rescue ride North! Please reach out to info@brooklinelabrescue for more information on this handsome and sweet boy.

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue. (Note: Sometimes a foster home falls in love and adopts their foster dog so the dog doesn’t make it to “Available Now”).

The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
