Tommy - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Vassalboro, Maine

Hi, its me, Tommy!

Im a 1-year-old @nycacc (https://www.instagram.com/nycacc/) alum (fka Herbie). I came in as a stray and the shelter was just a bit much for me - Ive got a lot of energy and didnt know what to do with it. All my friends there really tried to help me, but I needed out.

Then my fierce foster mom saw a video of me and said not today - and gave me a chance with the help of @miraclelanerescuenyc (https://www.instagram.com/miraclelanerescuenyc/)

Im still a young pup and Im learning new things every day, but Im super eager and love my people - SO SO much. Id be happiest in a home where someones around a lot (I need 2-3 hours a day being active outdoors, by the water, beach (I so love the beach ), or in the park- and with a backyard for my zoomies, and where I can be your one and only (no kids/ other pets).

Good news: Ive been working with professional trainers and Im already making great progress! Im house trained and know basic commands! While I dont like the crate, Im making up for cuddling on the couch with you!

If youre looking for a loyal, fun best friend... please contact @miraclelanerescuenyc (https://www.instagram.com/miraclelanerescuenyc/) to meet me

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
