Orion is a 10-week-old puppy who weighs 9 lbs and is ready to find his forever home!

He and his sister Nova were pulled from the euthanasia list and given a second chance at life. Sadly, black dogs are often overlooked in shelters simply because of their fur color, and they can be less likely to make it out alive. Orion deserved that chance, and now he’s ready for a family of his own.

Orion is a smart little boy who is already almost 100% potty trained! He knows to go potty as soon as he gets outside, which is a great start for such a young puppy.

He loves to play, zoom around, and have fun with his toys. He’s also been doing great around chickens and goes outside with us every day while we do our chicken chores. He is kitty-friendly, too, and loves playing with our resident cat.

Orion is a fun, clever little guy with so much love and personality to share.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
