Meet BONITA 🐕💛!
Bonita is a 10-month-old, 20 lb (9.2 kg), small-to-medium sweetheart searching for her forever home!
She is healthy, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and scheduled to be spayed on April 7.
Bonita is an active, playful young pup with a big personality. She’s a Jack Russell mix with strong terrier traits and an irresistibly adorable look. Very people-oriented, Bonita has already formed a close bond with her foster mom and loves being part of the action.
She can live with cats and dog-savvy children, as she mostly ignores them.
Training & Behavior:
< House training is almost complete
< Crate training is in progress (she sleeps well in her crate at night).
< May whine a little if crated while you’re nearby—she just wants to be included 😊.
< When left alone, she may look for you and howl briefly, but settles quickly.
< Can be a bit bossy with other dogs.
Bonita tends to prefer women and may bond strongly with one person as her “person.” She needs a little time to warm up to new people, but with patience, she blossoms beautifully.
As a young dog, she’ll thrive with an adopter who can provide continued training, structure, and guidance to help build her confidence and trust.
Bonita is affectionate, playful (sometimes extra playful 😉), and would be a perfect match for an active person or family ready to include her in daily life.
