Honey - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Sonoma, California

Six little hearts are ready to find the families they've been waiting for! Born on June 5 and ready to head home beginning July 31, these adorable pups have spent their first eight weeks exactly as every puppy should-in a loving foster home surrounded by people, children, and other dogs.

Their mama, Lois, is believed to be a Silky Terrier mix who was found as a stray in California's Central Valley while heavily pregnant. Thanks to a kind rescuer, Lois was able to safely raise her puppies in foster care instead of a shelter. While we don't know who Dad was (our best guess is a mix of Shepherd, Chihuahua, and who-knows-what!), these puppies are expected to mature to approximately 25-35 pounds.

Each puppy has their own unique personality:

Sable (Female)
Our beautiful gray girl, Sable is as affectionate as they come. She loves being close to her people and is happiest soaking up cuddles and attention.

Mittens (Female)
Named for her irresistibly cute tan paws, Mittens is incredibly sweet, gentle, and cuddly. She's the kind of puppy who will happily curl up in your lap after a play session.

Grizzy (Male)
With his slightly longer, fluffier coat, Grizzy is the adventurous one! He's curious, playful, and always ready to investigate something new before racing back for pets.

Teddy (Male)
Teddy is a thoughtful little guy who sometimes prefers to watch before joining the fun. Once he knows you're a friend, his incredibly sweet, loving personality shines through.

Honey (Female)
Honey's slightly darker brown coloring matches her warm personality. She's a total love bug who adores affection and is always ready to hand out puppy kisses.

Bear (Male)
Bear is another wonderfully sweet boy with a gentle, easygoing nature. He's playful, affectionate, and will make a loyal best friend for one lucky family.

These puppies have been lovingly raised with children and other dogs, giving them a wonderful start in life. They're playful, social, curious, and full of the confidence that comes from being well cared for during these important early weeks.
