Jasper's a Velcro dog through and through and loves being close to his people-or really anyone willing to give him affection, including other pets. If there's a soft blanket, dog bed, or cozy spot on the floor, you can bet Jasper has already claimed it. He's just as happy spending the day lounging on the couch, snuggled up beside you, as he is running joyful circles around a park. Inside the house, Jasper is calm and relaxed, but outdoors he's always up for whatever adventure you have in mind. Jasper love love loves his toys, never turns down a good meal or treat, and gets excited very easily. He's motivated by affection, treats, and a soft, happy voice. He responds best to gentle handling and doesn't do as well with loud or harsh corrections. He walks beautifully on a prong collar and is a pleasure to take out. Also, one of Jasper's best qualities is how well he gets along with everyone. He's fantastic with kids, cats, and other dogs. The only thing he occasionally forgets is just how big he is! Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, a park companion, or a professional couch cuddler, Jasper is ready to be your best friend. He's the kind of dog who simply wants to be wherever you are, and he'll happily keep your blanket warm while he's at it.
