## Meet Cocoanut Shrimp (aka CC)!

Around here, I call her **CC**, but her government name is **Cocoanut Shrimp**, and honestly... it fits. She's sweet, a little goofy, and absolutely impossible not to love.

If you're looking for a puppy with a resilient spirit and a heart twice her size, keep reading.

At just **7 months old and 38 pounds**, CC is all puppy. She loves to run, play, explore absolutely everything, and then stretch out in the sunshine like the happiest little baked potato you've ever seen.

\She doesn't have a dominant bone in her body-she's confident, friendly, and happy to make everyone her new best friend. She's still figuring out that she's not a tiny lap dog, though, so personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule.

Speaking of laps... when she's ready to settle down, she'll happily curl up on yours and stay perfectly still for cuddles.

Here's what else makes CC so special:

Great with kids and dogs of all sizes

Crate trained-she's quiet as a mouse as long as she doesn't need a potty break

Potty training is coming along beautifully and she'll thrive with a consistent routine

Knows "sit" and comes when called

Gentle when taking treats (it took a couple of training sessions thanks to her adorable underbite!)

Loves rope toys, balls, stuffed toys, bones, and peanut butter

Not a toy destroyer-she actually likes to enjoy her toys!

She has the cutest little underbite that somehow makes her even more charming. Because of it (and because she's still adjusting to only having one eye), a food bowl with higher sides is highly recommended. She still occasionally tries to look through her missing eye, but every day she's adapting more and more to her permanent pirate look-and she wears it beautifully.

Now... bath time? That's another story. CC would rather be waterboarded than take a traditional bath. (She promises she's dramatic.)

CC would thrive in an active home that will continue teaching her boundaries, give her plenty of opportunities to play, and shower her with the love she so freely gives everyone else.

She's overcome more in her short life than most dogs ever should, yet she wakes up every day happy, optimistic, and ready for whatever adventure comes next.
