DESCRIPTION

Molly~1 year old
Weight: ~60 lbs
Height: 24” at the shoulder

Molly is a beautiful black lab mix with a calm, relaxed temperament and a gentle nature.

Molly loves her daily walks, meal times, and spending time with her foster family and their two dogs. Most of the day, she is happy lounging around the house or relaxing in the yard. She is fully house trained and sleeps quietly and happily in her kennel at night.

She is currently learning city life and adjusting well to a new pace and environment. Molly rides nicely in the car and walks well on leash. Busy streets and fast moving vehicles can still make her a little nervous, so continued confidence building will help her settle in even more.

Molly does have some prey drive and may try to chase birds, cats, or some dogs while on leash. She is not aggressive, but she can become excited and reactive when something catches her attention. She will benefit from continued leash work, recall training, and guidance from her future family.

One of Molly’s sweetest qualities is how much she loves people. She greets her foster family with joyful little “songs” when they come home, and her happy personality shines through every day.

Right now, Molly is fed separately from the other dogs while she continues learning to relax around food. She has not shown much interest in toys yet.

Molly would make an excellent walking, hiking, or running companion. She has wonderful energy, a loving disposition, and so much potential to become an amazing family dog or loyal best friend. temperament and a gentle nature.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
