**Kipster is eligible for our “Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program”! For select senior dogs, FCAR will offer a senior reimbursement program of a maximum of $300 per year for the life of the animal. Qualifying purchases include only the following items: wellness exam, annual vaccinations including Bordetella, and heartworm prevention. Adopter is responsible for taking the animal to their veterinarian for all services. Once the service is received and paid for, adopters can submit copies of their receipts to fayettefcar@hotmail.com and we will send them a check. The maximum reimbursement in a 12-month time frame is $300!**

Meet Kipster – Your Adventure Buddy with a Side of Sass

"Hi, I’m Kipster—but my friends call me Kip, and you can too. I’m a 41-pound pup with a big personality, a love for the great outdoors, and a strong opinion about sharing... which is: no thank you. I’m great with kids and some dogs, but when it comes to food (especially your French fries), I like my space. Fair is fair, right?

I'm what you'd call a natural-born leader—I like being the boss of my own backyard and maybe yours too. My foster mom calls me a "door dasher," which sounds kind of like a superhero name, if you ask me. I just love to explore and would definitely subscribe to a hiking trail newsletter if that was a thing."

Things I love:

Zooming around in the snow

Being outside as much as possible

Kibble, toys, football, and banjo music (yes, really)

Climbing chain-link fences (I'm basically part ninja)

Because of my athletic climbing skills, I do need a tall, secure fence—chain link won’t hold me back.

Kipster's date of birth is 9/11/2019 and he weighs about 41 pounds.

All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95. This fee includes:
• Extensive medical All health check by a licensed veterinarian
• Up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention
• Spayed/Neutered
• Microchipped
Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:
• Fenced yard. We will ask for a video that shows the entire fence so that we can verify that there are no holes or gaps where the dog could escape. (We do not accept invisible fences.)
• Veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of a 3-month supply of heartworm prevention from our vet.
• If renting, verification with the Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions.
