DESCRIPTION

***FENCED YARD REQUIRED***

***Local Adoption Only at this Time***

Baby Ray is a sweet, playful puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s curious about the world around him, loves to play with toys, and is always ready to make new friends. After a good play session, he’s more than happy to curl up for a nap and soak up all the love he can get.

Like any young pup, he’s still learning the basics, house training, manners, and all the important skills that help him grow into a well-adjusted companion. He’s smart, eager to please, and ready to bond closely with the people who give him patience, guidance, and plenty of affection.

Baby Ray is looking for a family who will help him continue building confidence and show him just how wonderful life in a loving home can be. In return, he promises puppy kisses, tail wags, and a lifetime of loyalty.

How Baby Ray Got His Name...
Baby Ray has quite the story behind both his rescue and his name. Our team spent nearly three weeks patiently trying to trap this clever little pup and bring him to safety. He kept us on our toes the whole time, just a little too quick and cautious to be caught.

In the end, it was rotisserie chicken topped with Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce that finally won him over. That irresistible combination did the trick, and once he was safely in our care, his name was an easy choice. What started as a determined rescue mission turned into a second chance for a very special puppy and now he’s ready to find the forever family he deserves.

Baby Ray is available for pre-adoption only which means that he still has some remaining vet visits to finish his puppy vaccines. You can adopt him now, but you will have to take him to our vet in Somerville for his remaining appointments.

Baby Ray's date of birth is 1/8/2026.

All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes:

• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian
• Up to date on all vaccinations. Puppies/kittens may require some additional booster shots which we will pay for if coordinated through us and our veterinarian
• Spayed/Neutered
• Microchipped
• 30 day pet health guarantee for local adoptions only
(*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.)
• 30 day money back guarantee

Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:

• Fenced yard (required for most dogs) and home inspection for all animals; we will complete an onsite fence/home check prior to completing the adoption. (We do not accept invisible fences.)
• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention)
• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3- month heartworm prevention
• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.
• Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility

Note: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). We do a physical home/fence inspection prior to completing the adoption if a fence is required.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
