Meet Mia
A Tiny Survivor Looking for Her Forever Family
Mia is one of ten puppies rescued in mid-July after they were discovered abandoned in a field near San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. What could have been a tragic ending became the beginning of a rescue mission to save these vulnerable babies and give them the future they deserve.
Today, Mia is a healthy, happy 7-week-old puppy who is thriving in foster care. She loves spending time with her littermates, playing, exploring, and curling up for naps surrounded by the comfort and security every puppy deserves.
Mia has received loving care, proper nutrition, and veterinary attention, and she continues to grow stronger every day. Her sweet personality is beginning to shine, and she is ready to find a family who will cherish her for a lifetime.
Mia will be ready to travel to the United States at the end of August and is currently accepting adoption applications.
By adopting Mia, you're not only giving one puppy a loving home—your are helping support the rescue of countless street dogs in Central Mexico who are still waiting for their second chance.
If you would like to welcome Mia into your family, please submit an adoption application today. Her journey from a lonely field to a loving home is almost complete—she just needs you.
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
