GINGER - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Rochester, Indiana

Hi, I'm Ginger!



I'm a 6-month-old mixed breed puppy searching for a family to grow up with! I'm currently 31# and growing!

My mama showed up as a stray, and a kind family took her in and cared for her while she had me. Now it's time for me to find a forever home of my very own!


Right now, I'm a happy, social little pup who does well with other dogs, cats, and kiddos. Of course, I'm still young and learning about the world, so continued positive socialization will be important to help me grow into a confident, friendly adult.

And speaking of growing up... I'm still a puppy! That means my future family needs to be ready for all the puppy stuff: potty training, house training, learning manners, chewing things I probably shouldn't, and patiently teaching me how to be the best girl I can be. Consistency, structure, exercise, socialization, and lots of love will go a long way!



Most importantly, I'm not just looking for someone who wants an adorable puppy. I'm looking for someone who is ready to commit to me through every stage of my life, from puppyhood to my gray-faced senior years.

Spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100

Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day.

We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!
