Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

If perfect were a dog, it would be Blanche.

Blanche is a tiny tripod with a giant spirit—and absolutely no idea she's any different. She came into the shelter with a shattered elbow that required amputation, and during surgery, her heart even stopped. But Blanche wasn't done yet. She fought her way back, and now she's living every moment like the little miracle she is.

At just under five months old and weighing only 17 pounds, she may be petite—but she is mighty. Blanche seamlessly joined her foster home, meeting resident dogs with ease and winning over everyone she meets. She's wonderfully social, endlessly loving, and full of playful energy. She loves to run (and is impressively fast!), soak up the sunshine, and then curl up into the softest dog bed she can find for a cozy nap.

Blanche is great with kids, dogs, and cats—truly a friend to all. She's still working on crate and potty training, but she's already doing incredibly well in short stretches and is eager to keep learning.

This girl is something special. A beautiful reminder that we are more than enough just as we are—even if that means giving lots of kisses on three legs.

Blanche is fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and is able to head home with the luckiest family ever on or after 5/2/2026.
