Skater Boy - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

He was a boy, she was a... wait, wrong Sk8er Boi! This Skater Boy is a little puppy with a whole lot of pizzazz, personality, and a heart of gold. And just like his namesake, this sweet, spunky guy is ready to keep the good times rolling, and just needs the right home to join his adventure!

In true puppy fashion, Skater Boy is still learning the ropes and discovering all that the big, wide world has to offer. He's curious, exploratory, and eager to check out just about everything around him. He's also already showing that he knows how to settle when given the opportunity, is beginning to understand toys (including how to entertain himself with them!), and is very much a people-oriented little nugget.

Skater Boy is looking for a patient, active, and puppy-ready home that can help him continue learning and growing into the wonderful adult dog he's meant to be. Positive reinforcement training and plenty of socialization will be especially important as he grows, helping him build confidence, learn good manners, and navigate the world like the superstar he is. In addition to someone who can show this youngster the ropes and teach him the finer points of being a Good Dog, a social, playful dog in his new home could be especially helpful as a canine role model. Or a home that can provide lots of positive social experiences and opportunities to safely explore the world would be a great fit too.

As with any puppy, Skater Boy will need some patience while he works on building a routine, as well as some skills like house and crate training, and adjusting to life in a home. But he already seems to have an amazing foundation, and with the right guidance, he's ready to learn, grow, and have approximately a million adventures along the way.

So if you have room in your heart and home for a peppy puppy with plenty of personality... Skater Boy is ready to help you "rock each other's world"!

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
