Darlene - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Darling Darlene is a little lady with a big heart, a soulful face, and a glow-up that is officially underway! Darlene came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about her past, but this sweet girl deserves a future filled with love, comfort, and all the TLC her heart can handle.

When Darlene first arrived, she was understandably a bit shy and unsure, but underneath that initial hesitation is the gentlest, sweetest little soul. She has so far been a quiet companion with everyone she meets, and we have a feeling that once she realizes she's safe and loved, her darling personality is really going to shine.

And speaking of shining... Darlene recently had to say goodbye to her scruffy body floof after some mats needed a shave. So, for the moment, she's rocking the "scruffy face, naked body" look-a bold fashion choice, but honestly? She pulls it off, and cannot wait to have more routine brushing and grooming in the future!

What Darlene would really love is a home where she can take things at her own pace, feel safe, and discover what it's like to have people all her own. She's ready for someone to adore her, spoil her, and remind her every day just how darling she truly is. So if you have room in your heart for a sweet little lady who is equal parts scruffy, sweet, and absolutely deserving, darling Darlene would love to meet you!

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

This dog is currently located at PAWS Grays Ferry Clinic, which is not a walk-in facility.
