DESCRIPTION
Meet Twiggy!
Twiggy is the oldest of her adorable group of five that came to us from San Jose Animal Care Center, and she's ready to find a family of her very own!
This scruffy little terrier mix is equal parts playful, affectionate, and delightfully goofy. Twiggy is a world-class cuddle bug who believes there's no such thing as being too close to her favorite people. Whether she's showering you with kisses or curling up in your lap for a cozy afternoon nap, she's happiest when she's by your side soaking up all the love.
She's already making great progress with both crate and potty training, sleeping soundly through the night in her crate and continuing to build good house manners each day. Since she's still learning the ropes, she'll benefit from an adopter who is excited to continue her training. Like many young terriers, Twiggy can be a little mouthy when she's excited, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, she's eager to learn.
It is currently unknown how Twiggy may do in a home with cats, but she has been in a home with other pups! She can be a bit rough, so any canine companion would need to be the right match for her play style and energy! Due to her mouthiness, Twiggy would likely do best in a home with adult adopters at this time, or with families who have children over the age of 8.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
