Deli-Doo is a 2 year old, spayed female mixed breed, with the cutest little underbite. She is full-grown at about 48 pounds. When she came to the rescue (at approximately 6 weeks old)...she was very scared...of humans and most things in her surroundings.
Her original foster, showed this girl that humans would shower her with love, when she let them. She became quite the little love, giving many kisses, and wanting human interaction. With trust established, Deli-Doo has learned she loves the outdoors, walks, playground equipment, fetch & retrieve, learning tricks, and of course coming over for kisses and cuddles.
Deli-Doo is crate and house trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. She would need to go to a home without cats (prey drive). She would also need a home with either no children...or at least older ones.
This girl has been with the rescue for almost 2 years...waiting for her forever person/people to be ready to welcome her into their live(s) and home. If that’s you, just fill out an application at hwhanimalrescue.com
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
