ZZ Top

Meet ZZ Top is sweet, playful, handsome grey 2 year-old neutered Weimaraner mix with a loyal heart that is as sweet as they come. If Z likes and trusts you he will lean on you for butt scratches and then crawl right into your lap. He is medium-sized love bug at 30lbs. ZZ Top loves everyone and once trust is established he is your Velcro dog! His past experiences have left physical scars from a rough start in life, but he has shown remarkable resilience. He will be shy at first with new experiences but once he learns what it’s about he jumps into life with both paws! Z gets along with quieter or older children, dogs and even cats. He loves to chew on bones or run around with a toy in his mouth. He will blast around a fenced in yard a few times and then come in the house for a good cuddle in the couch. ZZ Top’s patience wears thin with overly energetic children, and he retreats to hide in his crate, so a household with older children who respect his boundaries or no children would be ideal. Z is well-trained and knows basic commands (sit, give paw) he is also crate trained and house trained. What he loves most is snuggling up on the couch with his favorite person. If you're looking for a loyal, loving canine Velcro pup, who will be content in a quieter home, ZZ Top might just be your perfect match.

The Weimaraner is a graceful and noble breed known for its distinctive silver gray coat and striking light eyes. Originally bred in Germany for hunting large game such as deer, boar, and bear, Weimaraners are versatile working dogs that excel in various roles, including hunting, tracking, search and rescue, and as loving companions. With their high energy levels and intelligence, Weimaraners require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to thrive and make loyal, affectionate family pets.
