Okay, technically Moose is safe in his foster home, where he spends his days perfecting the important skills of puppyhood, toy hoarding, cuddling, and napping on his foster mom's lap!

Moose on the Loose is a 2-month-old, 14-pound mixed breed boy who is ready to find a family of his own! Moose is discovering life is all about soft beds, full food bowls, doggy friends, toys, and people who think he's pretty darn special. With his smooth, shiny black-and-rust coat, soulful eyes, and sweet, mellow personality, Moose is one handsome little guy. He's smart, cuddly, and just a tiny bit mischievous.

Moose loves balls, bones, stuffies, and-apparently-the tail of his Golden Retriever foster sibling. He also likes to stash his favorite toys where his canine roommates can't find them. He loves other dogs and would benefit from a friendly, confident canine sibling to help him continue building trust and confidence. He has met the cat in his foster home. He was curious and wanted to play. He didn't seem to have a prey-drive reaction when he saw the cat.

Moose is a bit shy in new situations and may be unsure of unfamiliar people. He needs a patient family who understands that trust is earned one tiny paw step at a time. With patience, consistency, reassurance, and love, this sweet boy is sure to blossom. He is doing well on his house-training skills and with more time, will have it down. He is ready to start learning all the things that good doggies should know. He sleeps quietly in his pen all night, and walking on a leash will be his next venture.
