DESCRIPTION
Meet Minerva!
Minerva is 4 years old, 26 lbs., and truly such a special girl. She is incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and is happiest when she is close to her people.
Minerva came into our care heartworm positive, which meant her journey to her forever home had to wait while she received the treatment she needed. She has been such a trooper through it all, and we are so happy to say she is now healthy and ready for her next chapter!
This loving girl is ready to make her flight from Puerto Rico and meet the family who has been waiting for her. Minerva has so much love to give—now she just needs someone to give it to!

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as satos. To date, weve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
