Meet Impala!
Impala was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her, and this enthusiastic girl is ready for a fresh start! She's happy to head out for a walk, readily comes over to meet her people, and has a soft, wiggly body and wagging tail when she's feeling comfortable. Impala is an active girl with plenty of love and personality to share!



My Ideal Home
Impala will love an active home that can keep her body moving and her mind engaged. Daily walks, playtime, food puzzles, long lasting chews, and fun games like hide and seek will help her thrive. She'll also enjoy learning new skills through force free, reward based training with her favorite people.



Good with Other Pets?
Impala's history with other animals is unknown, but she showed no reactivity toward other dogs while walking through the shelter. Any future introductions should be slow, thoughtful, and supervised so everyone has a chance to get comfortable.



Good with Kids?
Impala would do best in an adult-only home. She can be a little sensitive with handling, so a calm home where she can build trust at her own pace will help her feel her best.



Things to Know
Impala walks beautifully on leash with no pulling and readily follows her handler. She can get enthusiastic when greeting people and may jump up to say hello, but she is receptive to treats and ready to learn. Give her plenty of positive outlets for her energy, and this sweet girl will be ready to embark on her next adventure!
