Hunter - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in New York, New York

What my friends at ACC say about me:
I can go home today!
I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.
I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!

A volunteer writes: Yes, this is one big guy! However, do not be fooled by his size. Hunter is as lovely and charming as can be. He comes out of his kennel carefully, ready for a good walk. And it's a great walk. Hunter strides along at a fairly good pace, but he is very respectful of his companion's needs. Although Hunter is not crazy about other dogs, he more or less minds his own business. While taking a break on a bench, Hunter comes over regularly for attention and pets. He is rather sweet and gentle. Come meet Hunter at Manhattan ACC. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 70.2lbs Age: 2yrs 1mths 2wks

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
