For those who missed her debut, Hershey was rescued from a Lowe's parking lot in Houston when we sent our transporter there to drop/load pups for transport. Someone shared a picture of this scared little girl hanging around the parking lot and, well... LOOK AT HER. We just couldn't leave her.

The good news? Hershey has settled into home life beautifully! She's figured out that pottying happens OUTSIDE and absolutely loves being part of a family.

She's still very much a puppy in her excitement, which mostly means JUMPING when she gets excited , especially for food. Considering she once lived in a parking lot with no idea when, or IF, her next meal was coming... we can't exactly blame her. Some basic training and consistency to help keep all four paws on the ground will go a long way!

And we cannot say enough about how genuinely SWEET this girl is. From the first night we got her, when she was scared as CRAP, Hershey showed ZERO aggression. She is incredibly submissive, affectionate and just wants to please. Even with food, there has been NO aggression or guarding. She's simply a happy, grateful girl who seems to know somebody finally came for her.

Breed? Our best guess is a good ol' Texas Lab mix, with maybe just enough Shepherd sprinkled in to explain those GIANT ears.

She's come SO far from that terrified girl surviving in a Lowe's parking lot. Now she needs someone who looks at those ridiculous ears and says, "Yep. That one belongs on my couch."
