RE-INTRODUCING CHIEF!

We SWORE we had posted this handsome dude before, but apparently his post disappeared into the Facebook abyss. Soooo... meet CHIEF!

Chief showed up at one of our volunteer's husband's fire stations out in East County. He was the SECOND stray pup to show up there, and unfortunately there wasn't room for another resident firehouse dog. Of course, we couldn't leave him hanging... and given where his story started, Chief only seemed fitting.

Chief is looking for his FOREVER HOME OR we desperately need a SHORT-TERM FOSTER from THIS THURSDAY through the following SATURDAY!

Beagle mix - based mostly on his VERY impressive sniffing skills

Super sweet, happy & friendly

Dog friendly - hasn't met a pup he doesn't like!

LOVES to swim! This boy has discovered the pool at his current foster home and is apparently living his BEST life.

No Beagle howl!

Cats unknown - he has not been cat tested

Secure fenced yard needed - this boy DEFINITELY likes to follow his nose and sniff out ALLLL the things!

Fully vetted

Heartworm positive, BUT he'll be receiving his fast-kill injections this week! Those pesky worms are getting their eviction notice, and he should test negative in approximately 6 months.

Chief may have started life surviving on the streets, but you'd never know it. He is truly sweet as pie and just happy to be loved. We KNOW his forever family is out there somewhere!
