Remo - Mixed Breed and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Mississauga, Ontario

REMO – Lab-Mix / 3 years / 28kg / M-Neutered

Meet Remo!

Remo was rescued alongside his brother Remy, and now these two handsome boys are getting ready to make their way to Canada!

Remo has quite the outgoing personality. He's confident and friendly, enjoys being around people, and gets along well with other dogs. He's also a big fan of cuddles!

He's a medium-high energy guy with good leash manners, though we've been told those manners tend to disappear when Remy is around. Things into more of a social outing than a structured walk.

Remo would be happy as the centre of attention in a home of his own or sharing the spotlight with some canine siblings.

We're just getting to know Remo, but so far, there's a whole lot to like!

If you’re interested in handsome Remo, application and all adoption information can be found at www.dibsrescue.com. Remo’s adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).

The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
