At 2 years old (maybe closer to 1 year), Sizzle is a young male bursting with energy and enthusiasm. He’s the kind of dog who’s always ready for action—whether it’s playtime, outdoor adventures, or learning something new. With the right outlet for his energy, Sizzle will make a fun and devoted companion.

Sizzle will need consistent training, along with plenty of love and affection, to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. He’s full of potential and would thrive with someone who can provide structure and positive guidance.

With proper introductions and continued care, Sizzle may do well in a home with children and other dogs. He’s looking for a family willing to invest time in helping him succeed and feel secure.

Sizzle came to us from Detroit with no known history, but he’s ready to start fresh and find a home where he can truly shine.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost to the owner. This is one reason we have fees on the dogs to help cover the extra medical some of the other residents need. They all share the burden and the rewards.
No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We typically require a meet-and-greet between any resident dogs and the dog you’re interested in adopting, to ensure everyone gets along safely and comfortably.
