Gemini - Mixed Breed and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Matthews, North Carolina

Gemini and Bootstrap have now both been fully vetted and are looking for individual foster homes or adopters. We are separating this brother sister duo now for their own benefit. They feed off each others insecurities and barking. Alone each is much calmer and better behaved.

They are 2 yrs old. Gemini the black one is sweet and comes more readily for a lap and petting. But she has a little submissive peeing when being picked up if scared. Both are crate and leash trained and housebroken. Either is good with dogs. Both would be good as only dogs too with an adult only calm home. They’re very content to sit in your lap. Their owner had a plethora of clothes and hats she put on them so they were spoiled a bit. They are poo/chi mixes and Gemini weighs 7lbs

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
