Oatmeal - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Madison, Wisconsin

Oatmeal is a bright and bouncy little guy. He's very affectionate with people and likes being held, at least until he's ready to play again. He's already housebroken but we're still working on cues for when he needs to go outside. Compared to his brother Barley, he is a little more mellow, but not much. He's a high energy pup who loves to play. When it's time for a break, he gets a little snippy with his brother, which suggests it will be good for them to be separated. He does well with my dog, and tends to follow, rather than try to lead. He has a very sweet personality and will do well in many different households.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
