Delilah - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Lewisville, Texas
DELILAH
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Lewisville, Texas
September 28th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Delilah is a three year old, 50 lb, mixed breed.
Foster mom says that she is a gentle, quiet, little weirdo who is almost suspiciously well-behaved.
She has a sweet, submissive personality and loves everyone she meets - adults, children, strangers, and other dogs. She greets dogs politely, plays nicely, and has handled dog parks, breweries, bingo nights, and other public outings llike a seasoned socialite.
At home, Delilah peacefully coexists with four adult cats. She has done well with older cats but can get a little too enthusiastic about kittens, so a home without tiny, exciting cat-shaped toys would be the best fit!
Delilah walks beautifully on a Gentle Leader without pulling, does not bark, and has never been destructive with furniture or belongings. She is also a well-mannered passenger on car rides.
Delilah knows Sit, Down and Paw, and is currently working on Stay and Spin. She has her own communication system when she needs something, or simply believes she has gone too long without your attention. She will gently place one paw on your knee and wait for you to address her concerns.
Delilah is affectionate, trainable, adaptable, and deeply loving. She is equal parts ideal companion and polite little coworker who occasionally submits a paw-based service request.
Whoever adopts Delilah is going to be extremely lucky, so please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
