Niki - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Larkfield-wikiup, California

This adorable girl appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, in a neighborhood where everyone know each other and nobody recognized her. She kind of just hung out in the same spot on the side of the road in the blistering Central Valley heat. Waiting...nobody came.

Thankfully, kind people helped her, and when no owner could be located, she was brought to Dogwood. She's about 5-6 months old and weighs maybe 15-20 pounds, so we expect her to mature under 25 pounds. Big enough to to hike all day, small enough to snuggle on a lap. She's a Heinz 57 mixed breed who could have some Pug in that curly tail, a drop of Shar Pei in her wrinkled forehead, and maybe a hint of Dachshund in her longish body, along with probably a dozen other things. But whatever she is, she's cute as a bug and super sweet. Niki loves to snuggle and go for walks, plays nicely with other dogs, and sleeps quietly in her cozy crate at night.
