Reece - Rat Terrier Dog for Adoption in Larkfield-wikiup, California

It's hard to fit those spectacular ears in the photo! Our shelter friends reached out about some sad, neglected, little hoarder dogs in need and we went and scooped up three of them today. They are all scared with bad skin and lack of care, but warming up quickly and very sweet as soon as they feel safe.

This adorable itty bitty girl is probably 7-8 months old and weighs just 4 1/2 pounds. She will likely mature around 5-6 pounds. Her sheer terror in a noisy kennel environment made made us say yesterday immediately. She needs some Dogwood love.

The shelter staff has taken wonderful care of these dogs. They got them out of a sad, flea infested hoarding situation, started treatment for their ailments, did vaccinations, treated fleas and worms and saw the vet. They had soft blankets to sleep on and staff worked hard to help them feel safe.

Reece will be available after spay and vetting.
