DESCRIPTION
**Meet Gibby!**
Gibby is a fun, affectionate 1-year-old who loves being around his people. He previously lived with children ages 5-11 and was friendly and playful with them and the adults in the home. Here at the shelter, he has been a total lovebug, leaning in for pets and putting his paws in laps. He even knows "sit" and will offer it all on his own!
Gibby has lived with dogs and cats, but his energetic personality can sometimes be a lot for other animals. He may do best with a calmer canine companion and a cat who can handle his playful antics. Slow introductions and appropriate separation will be important.
Gibby is an active young dog who will benefit from plenty of physical and mental enrichment, especially when left alone. He was comfortable spending time in a crate and will appreciate fun things to keep his busy brain occupied. If you're looking for a sweet, silly guy with lots of personality, Gibby may be your perfect match!
Gibby is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Reach out for more information! adoptions@adoptlansing.org or 517-626-6060
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
