ZeeZee - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Lacon, Illinois

ZeeZee is approximately 8-years-old and about 50 pounds. She was seized when she was discovered in a storage shed. She had the same owner her entire life. The owner gave ZeeZee to a teenager. The child took the dog home without telling the parents. The parents said no. The child stowed her away in a storage shed and took her food and water regularly until ZeeZee was discovered. She was removed from that situation, and that is how she ended up at The ARK.

She has exposure to other dogs. She loves kids, and she loves deeply.

The gray muzzle shows her age, but she is young at heart.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
