Nono - Poodle Dog for Adoption in Lacon, Illinois

Nono (DOB 3/1/22) is an 11 pound female poodle mix. She will need a very special adopter- someone that has patience and will give her time to adjust. She would likely benefit from the company of another dog to help boost her confidence. She is terrified of the world, but not a biter. She will sit in your lap, but remains paralyzed in fear before she becomes comfortable. She is coming around with some personality with regular volunteers, but, again, she is a dog that needs a little time before she feels comfortable with people.

The ARK does vet checks. To speed up the adoption process during open viewing hours, we encourage adopters to bring along copies of their vet records, which would include proof of spay-neuters, up-to-date on vaccines, and proof of heartworm testing and prevention for dogs.
