Buster is a 2-year-old, 65 lb Akita mix who is smart, playful and quick to figure out his routines. He enjoys having fun but is just as happy settling down and relaxing with his people.

- Would love an active, quiet home with a yard
- Great with dogs of all sizes with proper introductions
- Doing great on a gentle-lead leash and continuing his training
- Loves car rides
- House trained & crate trained
- Comfortable being home alone and loves his crate at night
- Not cat tested
- Has not been around children

Buster can be slow to warm up to new people and doesn’t enjoy strangers getting into his personal space. He needs a family who will respect his boundaries and give him time to build trust rather than expecting him to be everyone’s best friend right away.

He loves walks and running, so an active family who enjoys getting outside would be a great match for him.

Buster has done well with other dogs and could happily have a canine companion. New friendships should be introduced slowly and on neutral territory to make sure everyone is comfortable.

He’s a smart, fun-loving boy who knows what he likes and is continuing to learn every day. With the right family, Buster has so much love and adventure to give.
