Missy 2347 - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Kansas City, Missouri

Missy spent her entire life living on a chain. So now that she's finally free, she has a few things to make up for... loving people, chasing tennis balls, and running approximately 47 laps around the yard just because she CAN.

Missy is about 5 years old and has discovered that being loved is pretty much the best thing ever. She doesn't just want to be near you, she wants to be in your skin. Everyone she meets is instantly her new best friend, and she will happily soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give.
She also LOVES tennis balls. She will chase one with all the enthusiasm in the world... but bringing it back? Absolutely not. She remembers the rules of her old life, and apparently one of them is "finders keepers."
When Missy gets the zoomies, there is no stopping her. She tears around the yard with pure, unfiltered joy, and I swear if she could talk, you would hear her screaming, "I'M FREE! I'M FREE! LOOK AT ME GO!"

Missy is house trained and kennel trained, although she currently doesn't need to be kenneled. She does well with other dogs, but she's also perfectly happy being the center of her people's universe.

After spending so much of her life on a chain, Missy has finally discovered freedom and she has so much love, laughter, and life left to give. She deserves a family who will let her run, let her love, and remind her every single day that those days on a chain are behind her.
