Shadow - Mixed Breed and Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

Meet Shadow! Shadow is approximately 9 months old, 35 lb currently, and she is a mixed breed pup! She was left behind with her mama and siblings when her former family moved. In her foster home, she is house trained, doesn't need to be crated when left alone, and doing well on leashed walks. She could join households with teens, other playful pups, and dog-savvy cats.

Her foster says, "She was quite shy in the beginning, but after about a week she started warming up, and now she fully lets us know what she wants and shamelessly asks for cuddles. She’s fully potty trained, doesn't chew furniture or get into trouble, and her heel walk is perfect. She also handles free-roam home alone time without a crate just fine. She gets along great with Yaco and shows no resource guarding.

While having another dog-friendly pup around would be ideal, she could do fine as an only dog too. Because she loves the outdoors so much, a peaceful, scenic area with a grassy yard to lie on would suit her far better than a bustling city."
