Tuzo - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Hobart, Indiana

Meet our "Chicken Breeds" Litter!

These babies were surrendered to us with three 8-month-old male dogs (Princeton, Sumatra, and Sultan). They had been living outside in a chicken coop because there was no room for them in the home.

They are all confident, playful, and affectionate. They are looking for a lifetime of love.

They have all spent time in foster care and are now ready for their forever homes! They will need families committed to training to help them be the best big dogs they can be

According to his foster, "Tuzo is a sweet little boy. He can melt your heart with his little doe eyes. He likes to be held. He's going to make a big lap dog one day. Loves cuddles and is very alert. Fast learner and so smart. Once he's comfortable with you he is playful and corky. Has a big personality. He also likes walks and does great in the create at night."

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
